For charger owners: what your charger needs

Any charger that speaks OCPP 1.6J (OCPP 1.6 over JSON) can join. Chargers that speak only OCPP 2.0.1 cannot connect yet.

Protocol
OCPP 1.6J over WebSocket, sub-protocol ocpp1.6
Server address
wss://chargelk.com/ocpp/ followed by your charger's ID, for example wss://chargelk.com/ocpp/CP-001
Charger ID
The ID we give you when the charger is added, used as the last part of the address
Password
The password we give you, sent as HTTP Basic authentication
Security
Use wss:// (encrypted). Plain ws:// is for testing only
Energy meter
Reports energy in MeterValues as Energy.Active.Import.Register. What a driver pays is what this meter counts

What the charger sends us

BootNotificationHeartbeatStatusNotificationAuthorizeStartTransactionMeterValuesStopTransaction

What we send the charger

RemoteStartTransactionRemoteStopTransactionChangeConfigurationGetConfigurationTriggerMessageResetUnlockConnector

After a charger connects we ask it to send meter readings often (MeterValueSampleInterval), so drivers see live energy and we can stop a charge before a wallet runs out. Drivers start from the app (QR or the charger's ID), or tap a card that is registered with ChargeLK.
